Thomas Igeme, the host of “Venture Visionaries,” embarked on this passion project to challenge and reshape the narrative around success in the venture world. He shares, “I often grappled with contrasting views. While certain prevalent norms of prioritizing profit over people and the relentless hustle in the venture space didn’t resonate with me, I’ve been inspired by numerous leaders who exhibit qualities of curiosity, generosity, and wisdom. Venture Visionaries doesn’t just spotlight accomplished individuals, but aims to inspire listeners to adopt a visionary approach in their own endeavors – in work and life, broadening our perception of what success can look like.”
A serial entrepreneur, Thomas is the founder and Chairperson of TL Partners—a leadership and inclusion training and consultancy. He also co-founded Trybe, introducing AI to leadership coaching.
Thomas’s rich career journey includes pivotal roles at Turn/River Capital, an SF-based $3B private equity firm, where he spearheaded talent initiatives. His leadership imprints can also be found at renowned institutions like ServiceNow, LinkedIn, and Boston Consulting Group.
Actively involved in the start-up ecosystem, he advises burgeoning companies like Hone, Spokn, and Valence. Thomas’s commitment goes beyond the corporate world. He is a board member of FACES SF, championing early education for underserved communities, board elder with City Church of San Francisco and a founding trustee of The Lwai-Lume Legacy Foundation. He also serves as an adjunct professor in business at Stanford University.
